BEFORE and AFTER Hair Photos. Oh, and I lost the plot again.

And then, the baby cries all fucking day and all night, I get no work done, and have a complete meltdown by 6pm. Total meltdown. Epic.

It's like, I'm going really well and then suddenly I'm not again. My house took 5 seconds to dirty again, after I cleaned it. Mr TC is using Tigers craft scissors to try and cut his toenails, because he is too lazy to get up and get the proper clippers.

My Stepson has opened the chocolate advent calender I bought, and is happily chomping away on Freddo Frogs. It's strangely endearing.

Just another night here at Chez Topcat.

Nothing to see here ... oh, except my BEFORE and AFTER hair photos!!!! Ooooooooh, I LOVE me a good BEFORE and AFTER photo session.

Monkey is five months old. The last time I got my hair done was five months and two weeks ago. My biggest concern at that time, was how my hair would look in the hospital photos. As it turns out, my hair looked GREAT in the hospital photos ... it's just a pity my eyes were filled with TERROR.

*Ahem*

So, here is what my hair looked like on Saturday morning. Shapeless, heavy, faded.

And here, is the after. So sleek. I wish it stayed that way .... I wish I knew how to do it like this.
All purdied up and no place to go! XOX

Oh you are STUNNING Topcat -- and look how beautiful your view is! (Except of course when the Mister is cutting his toenails with craft scissors -- I tell you he and G would SO get along). My house too is a complete and total explosion -- and it had been so nice and clean and now? Disaster -- everywhere -- shredded bits of foam toys from the cat eating them, pumpkins for halloween strewn about, every single item taken out over the weekend just laying around.

It's all I can do not to crawl back into bed this morning. Where is the $#%&@#! coffee?

I've been thinking of you so much -- thinking and thinking.

Nice!

My hair always looks shiny and straight in photos. What you cant see is the frizz that devolps in the back corners (and front). I have to get it prof blown (sounds naughty) every week since there is no way I can get it that straight!

Glad you are doing better about the whole stepson thing.

You're gorgeous. Isn't it crazy how we can never recreate what the stylist does to our hair? Makes me crazy.

Ooh, you're inspiring me to book a haircut. You look lovely - you always do, TC - but there really is nothing like freshly styled hair to zen-ify one's outlook.

Wow. Talk about purdy!

Good luck to Mr Farter on his last chemo. And to you, too.

Bet you're way more than ready to put this chapter behind you.

And where's my plate!?

Wow, that after shot is stunning, not that I didn't already know you were gorgeous. If you had a hot photo competition you'd definitely win.

Sorry about the meltdown.

At least he cuts his toenails! Sarge lets his get all long and nasty. I swear, he has the ugliest, most disgusting feet in the entire universe. I can't even look at them. *shudder*

Your hair looks DIVINE! I have incredible and intense hair envy right now. Plus you have amazing cheekbones. Gorgeous, dahling!

As a natural frizz-bomb with infant twins who sucks at wielding her hair straightener or a hair dryer (please, that's what air is for, isn't it?) I feel your pain.

But your 'before' picture is much much better than mine would be :)

You are the total hotness - in both the before and after pix, actually.

Thinking of you all the time. Can't wait for the end of chemo.

Also, the pump arrived. Thank you so much! I plan to bring it to the hospital for help because I'm intimidated by the whole process. Also, loved the note and gift to Owen from Monkey. He will write back as soon as he is in the world.

XOXOXO

You have stunning hair, in both photos. Mine looks like someone wrapped a scarf around my head when it was wet, always, even after it's been blow dried.

Craft scissor toenail cutting sounds hilarious. And gross. Definitely not on the list of How To Impress And Seduce the Wife. Must never tell H about it otherwise he will probably try it next time.

I actually like the before *and* after photos. I think your hair looks good either way.

Craft scissors? That sounds really risky. Hope no blood came of it!

You crack me up. And I LOVE the hair. I come away from the hairdresser with hair all smooth and silky for about 8.5 seconds - then frizz bomb. Ugh.

You look like the ads for Sauve shampoo - the ones with the moms before and after. Beautiful after!

Catching up on your blogposts and I couldn't resist, you look gorgeous (before and after)!! Can I let you in on a secret to smooth, sleek hair? Get yourself a GHD Flat-Iron - it's the BEST invention ever (a bit pricey but worth every cent IMO)and really quick to use. I use mine every day to get that sleek "straight hair" look.
